THIN ICE

With rising temperatures, ice-covered surfaces in RM of Wilton are becoming increasingly dangerous. What looks safe could be dangerously thin.

Safety Tips:

Stay Off Ice – Ponds, rivers, and lakes are melting quickly, making ice unpredictable and unsafe.
Keep Pets Leashed – Avoid situations where pets run onto unsafe ice.
Watch for Flooding – Melting snow can lead to pooling water, hidden potholes, and slippery road conditions.

Residents are urged to exercise caution and report any emergencies to 9-1-1.
