2025 Assessment Notices Mailed

The Rural Municipality (RM) of Wilton advises property owners that 2025 assessment notices have been mailed out as of March 7, 2025. These assessments reflect land values determined by the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA).

Property owners are encouraged to review their assessment notices carefully. If you have any concerns or believe your assessment does not accurately reflect your land’s productive value, the deadline to file an appeal is May 7, 2025.

As part of this year’s revaluation, the Rural Municipality of Wilton informs property owners that agricultural land assessments have increased by 40% as part of the 2025 reassessment cycle conducted by the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA).  However, an increase in assessment does not necessarily mean a direct increase in property taxes, as municipal tax rates are set separately.
